Afari-Gyan, Mac Manu et al speak on EC

The speakers were drawn from major stakeholders in elections
The 5th edition of the Accra Dialogue held at Media General on Wednesday attracted dignitaries including a former Commissioner of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC), Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, who also became its first Chairman.
Dr Afari-Gyan was the main speaker.

Other speakers at the forum were drawn from the country’s political divide with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) represented by its 2016 Campaign Manager, Peter Mac Manu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) represented by its Director of Elections, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and the Convention People’s Party (CPP) represented by a former Chair, Samia Yaba Nkrumah.
The speakers addressed the theme: ‘Consolidating Ghana’s Democratic Governance: The Role of the Electoral Commission’.
The forum was organised by
Media General in partnership with the Institute of Law and Public Affairs (ILPA) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
